It’s impossible to imagine modern life today without plastics. No other material combines the qualities of plastic in terms of weight, shock resistance and hygiene. The quality of this material has also another side, it's nearly indestructible...

We at Miko Pac therefore think it's our duty to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible.

• We are constantly monitoring the latest developments in the research of more environment friendly plastics and production methods.
• Any surplus of waste of our production process is recycled into new raw material, making our factory running almost waste-free.
• The heat generated by the air compressors is used to heat our production facilities, warehouse and offices during the winter months. This saves more than 20,000 litres of gasoline a year.

Green Energy

Like our sister company Miko Coffee, environmental sustainability is high on the agenda of Miko Pac. In addition to the development of lightweight packaging and the continuous search for sustainable raw materials, a high priority is to reduce the energy consumption of our facilities. The recently installed solar panels on the new warehouse will certainly contribute to that. This development will  produce upto 425 MWH or a yearly supply for 100 families.
